Had a lot of good vibes

Went to the Zappa club to catch U-Roy's set and he was so hot, I was glad it was January. Pity that the same can't be said about the warm-up Junior Murvin, the guy who gave us "Police and Thieves". The falsetto's there, the lyrics are deep but the fire wasn't in it. U-Roy though was a power-house, and held the audience in the palm of his hand, playing off the two singers like a consummate professional.
On the way, I had to explain to the wife that yes, dear, I know you heard it at Club Med, but Agadoo-doo-doo is not roots rock reggae in a dancehall stylee.

Pretty soon I'm going to have to start dealing with heavy issues, so let me have fun now.
